MMO Deep Well Canister Anode is a prefabricated integrated cathodic protection anode solution widely adopted in modern industrial anti-corrosion projects. Also known as tubular MMO canister anode, it features an all-in-one factory pre-assembled structure, integrating titanium-based MMO tubular anode strings, gas guide pipes, high-density carbon coke backfill and external steel casing. Different from traditional on-site assembled anode ground beds, this prefabricated deep well anode effectively solves common pain points such as unstable grounding resistance, poor gas discharge and inconsistent construction quality in conventional buried anode systems.

Manufactured with high-purity titanium tube as the substrate and coated with high-performance iridium-tantalum-titanium mixed metal oxide via high-temperature sintering process, the product delivers stable electrochemical performance, extremely low consumption rate and strong anti-corrosion capability. It is specially designed for deep vertical burial, high soil resistivity areas and inaccessible buried engineering environments, serving as the core grounding equipment for long-term reliable cathodic protection systems.

Structural Features & Working Principle

The overall structure of the MMO tubular deep well canister anode is compact and reasonable. One or multiple MMO titanium tubular anodes are installed inside the sealed steel barrel, with professional gas guide pipes and high-purity carbon filler filled around the anode string. The internal coke backfill lowers overall grounding resistance, disperses anode electrochemical reaction load and reduces direct abrasion and consumption of the MMO anode body. The built-in gas guide structure timely discharges hydrogen generated during operation, avoiding gas accumulation that may block current conduction and cause ground bed failure.

The whole set is finished in the factory with standardized filling and sealing, ensuring uniform internal density and stable overall performance. On-site construction only requires integral hoisting and well placement, which effectively avoids quality fluctuations caused by manual on-site batching and laying, greatly improving the stability and service life of the deep well anode ground bed.
