Overview

MMO Canister Anode, also known as tubular titanium canister anode and prefabricated deep well anode, is a high-efficiency integrated cathodic protection grounding product specially developed for industrial anti-corrosion grounding systems. Different from traditional scattered anode laying methods, this prefabricated canister-type deep well anode adopts integrated factory assembly design, which perfectly adapts to deep well vertical burial, shallow burial and various complex ground bed working conditions. It is widely used in pipeline engineering, storage tank foundations, petrochemical facilities and other cathodic protection scenarios with high soil resistivity and limited construction space.

The product takes high-quality titanium tube as the substrate, and the surface is coated with high-performance iridium-tantalum-titanium mixed metal oxide noble metal coating after high-temperature curing. With stable electrochemical performance, ultra-low dissolution rate and long service life, it has become the preferred grounding anode for global industrial cathodic protection ground bed projects.

Product Structural Composition

Our integrated MMO tubular canister deep well anode adopts a multi-layer composite integrated structure, with rigorous internal structural design, which solves the problems of poor air permeability, high grounding resistance and easy local corrosion of traditional anodes. The complete set of finished products is composed of noble metal oxide tubular anode string, special gas guide tube, high-purity carbon coke filler and galvanized steel outer casing, with complete internal configuration and stable overall performance.

The core tubular MMO anode string is fixed and arranged inside the steel casing, and high-density coke conductive filler is evenly filled between the gas guide tube and the anode string. The gas guide tube can timely discharge the gas generated by the electrochemical reaction of the anode during operation, avoid gas accumulation from affecting current conduction efficiency, and effectively reduce the operating resistance of the ground bed. The external steel casing plays a role of mechanical protection, which can resist the extrusion of underground soil and rock layers, and prevent the internal anode structure from being damaged during construction and long-term buried operation.

2. Excellent safety and environmental adaptability: The matched gas guide structure eliminates the hidden danger of gas blockage in the deep well ground bed. The chlorine-resistant PVDF/HMWPE cable insulation layer is matched with the overall sealed structure, which can adapt to humid, high-resistivity and corrosive soil environments, and the whole machine is safe and stable in operation.

3. Greatly shortened construction cycle: The product is a fully prefabricated finished product, no on-site assembly, filler mixing and filling operations are required. Soil resistivity is the core basis for the design of deep well canister anode ground bed, which directly determines the matching quantity of anodes, the diameter and depth of anode wells, and the configuration power of supporting power equipment. In actual project design, we always select the installation position of deep well anode in the area with uniform soil texture and low soil resistivity, so as to ensure uniform current output of the anode ground bed and improve the overall protection efficiency of the cathodic protection system.

We adopt two professional data acquisition methods for soil resistivity: on-site actual test data acquisition and parameter estimation combined with the operating data of existing cathodic protection systems.
